profile2ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I’m exploring, learning, and layering my findings on canvas. It’s a great challenge to paint and I am having fun with it. That is what this is about for me.I’m a visual artist. Mixing ordinary, everyday objects in unusual settings is my job. Oil paint, pencil, canvas and paper are my tools. My job is awesome. There is a combination or coincidence and connection in my work that incorporates humor and personality and pink. Yes, pink.

I make art because creating is a great challenge. Art is why I am here, I believe that. As I make random connections to further a narrative, the more exciting the process and work become. My thought process is very intuitive, colors and images come and go. I’m letting go of insecurity and living in the moment. I can’t compare this to anything. The materials, paint, brushes, being with myself. Having a thought and running with it. This is my communication.
